Unparalleled Experience

Storm King Golf Course provides an unparalleled golf experience that is as breathtaking as its stunning views of Storm King Mountain and the Catskills. Originally designed by renowned Scottish golfer and designer Willie Norton in 1894, it stands as one of the oldest golf courses in the United States.

Through the creative vision of Chris Gray in collaboration with the leadership team of the Hudson Valley Golf Foundation, Storm King’s nine holes have been transformed into a reimagined golfer’s journey. Golfers can experience a rolling hills par 36 tract spanning 3130 yards, with the opportunity to play five distinct 9-hole routings and experience over 30 unique golf holes ranging in length from 135 to 825 yards.

In addition, Storm King has over 200,000 square feet of bent grass putting greens that provide unique putting course experiences and 12 challenging and different par 3 holes.

Storm King is committed to extending its exceptional golf experience to a broader audience through unified sports. Hudson Valley Golf Foundation, which owns the course, will provide underserved communities, such as inner-city kids, adaptive golfers including wounded military veterans, and individuals with intellectual disabilities, by hosting clinics and tournaments.

The Hudson Valley Golf Foundation (HVGF) will be announcing partnerships in each of these key areas and commence event hosting for these groups from mid-2025, with all expenses generously covered by HVGF and its friends.

The operating model for Storm King will be to provide a unique and imaginative experience for individuals and organizations looking to host golf-related events through a unique 24-hour ownership plan.

Beyond golf, Cornwall offers a diverse range of outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, and fishing. It also boasts a wealth of historic and cultural attractions, such as the Storm King Art Center, the Cornwall-on-Hudson Historic District, West Point Academy, and Hudson River Cruises.
